External relations

The Department of Philosophy of Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University has contacts with Ukrainian and foreign philosophical communities:

  • Supports relations with universities in Poland, the Czech Republic, Belarus, Slovakia, Bulgaria and other countries. Established contacts with Belarusian scientific institutions — the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Minsk Theological Academy. St. Cyril of Turov; Polish universities — Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw, Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Alcide de Gasperi University of Economics Euroregional in Jozefow, Medical University of Bialystok, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun.
  • Participates in philosophical life of Ukraine and supports scientific contacts with universities and research institutes of the country (G.S. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Drahomanov National Pedagogical University, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy, Vinnytsia National Technical University, Donetsk National Technical University, Ivan Franko Lviv National University, Zaporizhzhуa National University, K.D. Ushynsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University, V. Dahl East Ukrainian National University, Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University; Kherson Agricultural University).
  • It is the member of the Ukrainian Philosophical Fund (All-Ukrainian Association of Professional Philosophers). Collaborates with the Ukrainian Institute of Strategies, Global Development and Adaptation (Brussels); Shevchenko International Society, other scientific and public institutions.
  • Cooperates with and participates in editorial boards of leading academic periodicals of Ukraine (“Nova Paradygma”, “Nauka. Relіgіya. Suspіlstvo”, “Kulturologіchny Visnyk. Naukovo-teoretychny Shchorіchnyk Nyzhnyoyi Naddnіpryanshchyny”, “Skhid”, “Visnyk NTSh” and other journals). Publishes its own scientific works in philosophical journals of the world (in Czech Republic, Japan, Belarus and other countries).
